Our project create a partnership between European Schools settled near the seaside:
our goals is to carry out a MULTIDISCIPLINARY SCIENTIFIC LABORATORY ON COASTAL ECOSYSTEM.

We have chosen the sea as basic scope because it is closely linked to the concept of Europe in geographical, political, cultural and symbolic way.

Our pupil live near the sea and we want to improve their knowdlege about the fragile balance of the coastal ecosystem. The safeguard of the coastal environment is essential to the maintenance of the biodiversity, climate, health and survival of the people that make their living of its wealth.
.
All partners -Hungary, Romania, Greece, Prtugal and France- will work in a collaborative way throughout the project, comparing their different methodologies, implementing and evaluating activities.

DIVERSITY - OUR MOST PRECIOUS TREASURE

Our project included a wide range of activities and aims: 1. an awareness of the importance of cultural and linguistic diversity within Europe, as well as of the need to give equal chances for pupils and teachers to compare education system, school curricula, getting a really European dimension. 2. stimulating children’s motivation in learning foreign languages, ITC, a way to investigate the school and family life, a new understanding of similarities and differences, an enthusiast cultural dialog, rising pride as European citizens. 3. working as a team, studying and comparing cultural differences, traditions and customs, dances, history, language, national dresses, food, collecting information about partners' country. 4. improving teachers' knowledge about education, teaching at European standards. 5. students' involvement in documentation, taking photos, exchanging, gathering information, organizing galleries presentations in Power Point, films in Corel, leaflets, posters, albums, making a glossary. 6. collaborative, multilingual telling the story of partners’ culture. 7. constructing the web site of the project to maintain communication and exchange of information. 8. Pupils involvement to make a film showing their journey across Europe. 9. getting new friends, visiting each other’s schools improving fluency in speaking languages, discovering our precious treasure, cultural heritage as European added values. 10. collaborative cooperation throughout the project in planning, implementing and evaluating the activities. 11. full participation, inclusion of all children and staff, to became active European citizens.
